Tried it on freshly taken down braids very dirty hair. Washed 3× deep conditioned and used the leave in. I have yet to do a wash'n'go. With my hair being kinda short for that and so many different products, I've been washing/conditioning my hair then trying the various stylers first. Shipping for my two "10 for 10" orders took SO LONG 😕 (also for my Nifty Fifty) that I am still figuring out what I prefer. I DO know that I have more LL Mousse and Sculpting Gel than I need (three of each)! I like how my curl pattern loosens when washed and conditioned. I DO rewet my hair with water when doing any day to day styling. But my hair feels "crisp" after using the Mousse. I ADORE the smell of Brown Sugar Baby (just arrived) but haven't used it yet. I don't want to have too many products open and in rotation at a time -- that would be wasteful.

I'm enjoying the shampoos, the gel, and curl cream the most. I think I'm using the right. I've only used mousse during the era of creamy crack so I'm not sure about it. Almost forgot, I love the oil for my scalp which is still tender for some reason. Perhaps it's the cancer treatment I'm still on. I like the different scent of each product but as far as giving me the waves to my hair this didn't happen. Most importantly I don't know how to use each one of these products. Although your products are amazing, I feel that they are sized incorrectly. The shampoo is a good size, but the items that are used for a wash and go aren't big enough. My family went through the conditioner and jell before we could finish a same size bottle of shampoo. 🤷🏽♀️

Do I need to refrigerate them?
A: No, the water-based products include a preservative. This includes all of
the Pure Flaxseed Gels, Pure Avocado Moisturizers, Pure Aloe Vera Shampoo, and
Pure Grapeseed Conditioner.
The Pure Regrowth Serum and Pure Hair & Body Butter do not need
preservatives, as they don't include water.
What if I'm allergic to a few things?
A: Ingredients may have been derived from corn, soy, wheat, and/or nut
products. They may have also been produced in a facility that makes those
products.
We recommend conducting an "Area/Patch Test" as described below.
Area/Patch Test
This test allows you to test a small area of your skin
for 24 hours before applying the treatment to a larger area. We recommend
rubbing the CurlMix mixture on the skin near your elbow, covering it with a
bandage for 24 hours and if there is no allergic response (redness, itchiness,
swelling) then apply the treatment as directed in the instructions. If you have
an allergic reaction, we do not recommend the use of CurlMix and suggest that
you seek a medical professional’s consultation.
What preservative do you use?
A: Optiphen PLUS
● We use a safe and natural preservative called Optiphen
PLUS. It is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative as well. It's ideal for
preserving natural products that are used on the hair and skin. It offers both
safe & effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth, making
products last longer and safer to use.
How long will my CurlMix products last?
A: Approximately 2 years if unopened. Once opened, store in a cool dry place.
