This was my first time ordering from Curl Mix, and I am thoroughly pleased with the products. I first used the liquid scalp treatment and the liquid poo, followed by the conditioner. I love how the instructions are on the bottle to help make each step easy to use and follow. I have also used this scalp treatment and liquid on my son and it worked well for his tight curls. For my second wash day, I used the 1, 3, 4 step for the wash and go. Step 2 didn't come with my bundle, but I loved how light and weightless my curls felt and looked. It's been almost a week and my curls are looking full and vibrant. Black girls rock and so does black business. Thank you for making products that are amazing.
I used this for the first time last Saturday. I absolutely loved it!! I thought it was going to take me for ever to wash my hair and it didn't. I was able to do it in 45 minutes. Everyone loved my curls and how soft it was and it smelled so good. I can't wait to buy more. I am getting another 10 for 10 bundle. My friend is even going to get her a bundle after she saw my hair. I love the products. They are amazing.
Let’s start with the good. The products smell amazing and they seem to work well with my hair. I’ve been experiencing some thinning and it seemed to bring back my curls and thickness. Now the bad. I was disappointed that I did not get all four steps of the wash and go in my box. Some of the products leaked as well. I got step one of the wash and go but not step 2 the conditioner. I see that it’s sold out on your website so I am trying to find it at other locations.
The shampoo and pre poo is awesome!@@ really cleans my hair!@@ also love the wash and go leave in!!@ my hair IS SOOO curly after a wash!!! Thanks for making such a awesome product!!!! Loved the leave in so much i ordered more🥰🥰🥰 thanks!!!
The packaging is my only complaint. I had bottles that were leaking or the tops where busted off. But the product alone is top tier. No complaints there. My hair is very much in a better place when this is added to my routine.
My products arrived with one of them spilled because the top wasn't screwed on tight.
I've only used the shampoo and condition which I love so far.
I have the 3oz products that's all numbered ,but number 2 I dont have
So im not sure what role it plays in the number products.

The scalp treatments are the best thing I could have asked for. Love. Love. Love. A stylist I went to said dandruff was from my age and environment, but I have no flakes now.
Flaxseed gel top tier. I usually hate gel but this one holds without all of the synthetic ingredients. This is the only one I’m going to use

After using the curl mix 10 for 10 moisturizer my hair was silky soft moist hydrated and curly. The next day when my hair dried out all I did was finger through my hair with water and it came right back to moisturized curls.
I loved how soft my hair was!! It has never been so soft before with me doing it myself. My scalp was definitely clean of other products and smelled fresh. I look forward to continuing to use the products and purchase more. Thanks

There were very few flakes on the comb and my hair had much less breakage after using the Brown Sugar Deep Conditioner!

I love the natural nature of the products. I’m not too fond of liquid shampoo because it can run out too fast and is hard to control. The honey detangler conditioner has the best slip that I have ever seen. I wish I had it when my daughter was a kid. The 10 for$10 is a great deal but I don’t always need 10 products. The regular price point should be $10-$15 because the bottles are too small for$30. Overall these are a great line of products. I would buy on sale but not necessarily at regular price. I would buy the honey detangler conditioner at any price though. It’s gold in a bottle.
My entire family uses the products. Between the liquid poo and conditioner for the 2 with locs to the styling mouse and leave-in conditioner for my free naturals and low cuts, THESE PRODUCTS WORK! The scents are delightful but won’t linger in your hair afterwards. Our hair feels soft and is easier to manage. I wish I would have tried these products years ago.
So far I have used the wash and go shampoo. It made my hair soft and easy to comb through right after I used the honey conditioner which made it even more manageable. And finally the moisturizer. It kept my hair soft even after it was dry, and made the curls pop!
The liquid poo lathers very well and cleans thoroughly, leaves a pleasant scent without stripping the hair of oil. The scrubber is the best one I have tried, especially now that I have started my loc journey. The moisturizer and conditioners are thick without being oily. Thank you so much for these products - they are quickly becoming favorites!!!
Overall I love CurlMix and I have been using this product line for years. My favorite is the Wash +Go 4 step process. It never fails until I purchased Heavy Hold Flaxseed rather than my trusted Ultra Hold Quinoa Gel. This error keeps from getting previous results. No can tell other than myself so results are still great. I did not realize my order had mistakes until it arrived. I would love to rectify this error but it took so long to receive my purchase I'm not certain how to handle this. I recommend the Wash + Go products and process to everyone!
The products were numbered 1, 3, and 4. Why was there not a the bottles given a number 2. Also, the instructions on the bottles are very small. It would have helped to have instruction for the order of use for the all the products.
I have tried just about everything in the 10 for $10 bundle and love each one. It's great knowing these are less toxic and get the job done. Some are neutral (unscented) or pleasantly scented. The detangling deep conditioner is my favorite--it leaves my hair so soft!
I received my package February 28th. When I opened it, there was leakage from two of the bottles. The small wash and go tube were cut on the top because when I used the product out. It came out. Also, I never received the secret bag that was included.
I used it as directed and my hair looked like I went to the salon. The key was to keep my hands out of it once I did the last step and to use my diffuser to set the curls.
I’m still figuring out the wash & go process & getting used to the look. The 1st time was good. The 2nd time my hair was too dry - maybe I did not use enough product. Yesterday was the 3rd time. We’ll see. But overall, I like the feel of the products on my hair & scalp & the ease of the comb through!
I have always loved Curlmix products. I am allergic to a lot of things, but I have been using the products for a long time. I remember when the products came out in the boxes where I could mix them up. Love the products.

The conditioners have so much slip I'm in love. I want to try a full set of any of the curl mix products, just to see how well they work in sync. But what I did use o was happy with. Looking forward to more orders.

I like the products but I think 2 of the shampoo's could have been replaced with either a styling product or more conditioners. That Brown sugar baby detangling conditioner is everything. I love it!

Do I need to refrigerate them?
A: No, the water-based products include a preservative. This includes all of the Pure Flaxseed Gels, Pure Avocado Moisturizers, Pure Aloe Vera Shampoo, and Pure Grapeseed Conditioner.
The Pure Regrowth Serum and Pure Hair & Body Butter do not need preservatives, as they don't include water.
What if I'm allergic to a few things?
A: Ingredients may have been derived from corn, soy, wheat, and/or nut products. They may have also been produced in a facility that makes those products.
We recommend conducting an "Area/Patch Test" as described below.
Area/Patch Test This test allows you to test a small area of your skin for 24 hours before applying the treatment to a larger area. We recommend rubbing the CurlMix mixture on the skin near your elbow, covering it with a bandage for 24 hours and if there is no allergic response (redness, itchiness, swelling) then apply the treatment as directed in the instructions. If you have an allergic reaction, we do not recommend the use of CurlMix and suggest that you seek a medical professional’s consultation.
What preservative do you use?
A: Optiphen PLUS ● We use a safe and natural preservative called Optiphen PLUS. It is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative as well. It's ideal for preserving natural products that are used on the hair and skin. It offers both safe & effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth, making products last longer and safer to use.
How long will my CurlMix products last?
A: Approximately 2 years if unopened. Once opened, store in a cool dry place. Always review your products for changes in color, texture, or smell before you use them. If you are worried, reach out to customer service with any questions or concerns, anytime!
Are CurlMix products safe to use on color treated hair?
