At first I wasn’t quite sure about this product, but I just had to find the best way to apply it to my hair. My hair is porous and doesn’t hold moisture in between washes well. Day two I’m already looking dry, frizzy, and tangled. But I get it a little damp, and use this leave in conditioner to detangle, moisturize and revive my curls without them being weighed down or oily! Start with a little because it goes a long way.
I’m transitioning back to natural and was not confident in being able to love and take care of my curls. Since I’ve found CurlMix, I AM SO READY and love my hair again! 💜
I absolutely love this leave in conditioner strawberry hibiscus I ordered the pair before but I needed more of leave-in how I wish I could order another bottle without becoming a VIP my finances won't allow it right now to join but this slip, conditioning and feel it leaves my hair is unbelievable thank you for making this product I've tried your other products but I've found what works this is absolutely what my hair has been searching for.

I washed my hair, rinsed it and put this leave-in and I could’ve just wore it just like that.
I love the way the product does my hair it’s soft and holds water takes awhile for it to dry but I’m used it and it is wavy and the product helps it stay moisturized
To my surprise it really locked in moisture which is what I was missing. However, it reduced the hold from my gel but now I know what to expect. If I need super hold, I’ll not use the leave in until next wash day.
This leave in is very good if you have parched, dry hair. It does very well with high porosity hair, which I have because I bleach & color my hair. Game changer!

I wet detangle my hair in the shower with a wide tooth comb, wring out the excess water and lightly dab the ends so they are wet but not dripping wet. Then at the sink I apply 1-2 pumps of the strawberry hibiscus leave-in conditioner, and one pump of the Maui leave-in conditioner and rake thru all strands concentrating on the middle to the ends. My hair is wavy/curly from root to mid shaft and then forms soft curls from mid shaft to the ends, is high porosity and drinks your leave-in daily! After this I take a nickle size dab of your Mango Magic Twist & Style cream (i love the light hold and anti-frizz effect) and apply mainly from mid-shaft to the ends. (This is optional) With a wide tooth styling comb, as I style & comb thru, the curls form themselves as the hair exists the comb.. I follow this with a light coat of hair oil imported from Thailand (Sudtana Bergamont, Coconut, and Sesame oil) that adds great shine and seals in the moisture. Your leave-in is a daily application-best product i’ve tried. My hair has stopped breaking and excessive shedding which i am most pleased about as my hair is finer now (67 yrs) and thinning across the side and crown. (Inherited genes). But this product along with the Deep Conditioner on wash day is #1. Wish my Mom had had this product to do my hair growing up when it was long, thick, and tangly, she would have LOVED it!!! ♥️

1997
My First Relaxer
When I was 6 years old, my grandmother relaxed my hair, against my mother's request. My mother was so upset, and that led to 13 years of relaxers to acheive "straight hair" so I could feel "beauitful" and fit in at school.
2010
MY BIG CHOP
Sophomore year in college, I was inspired to go natural by my mother and several girls wearing their afros on campus. That semester, I cut all of my hair off in my dorm room.

FAQ
Will my products be all natural and organic?
Yes, we will only provide natural and/or organic ingredients. We keep our labels simple, so you can understand exactly what is going on your hair & body. All ingredient information is on each individual product page.
Do I need to refrigerate them?
No, the water-based products include a preservative. This includes all of our products except any pure oil formulas. Putting them in the refrigerator does help them last longer but is not required. Unopened, they have a 2 year shelf life and after it is opened, 1 year.
What if I'm allergic to a few things?
Ingredients may have been derived from corn, soy, wheat, and/or nut products. They may have also been produced in a facility that makes those products.
We recommend conducting an "Area/Patch Test" as described below.
Area/Patch Test: This test allows you to test a small area of your skin for 24 hours before applying the treatment to a larger area. We recommend rubbing the CurlMix mixture on the skin near your elbow, covering it with a bandage for 24 hours and if there is no allergic response (redness, itchiness,swelling) then apply the treatment as directed in the instructions. If you have an allergic reaction, we do not recommend the use of CurlMix and suggest that you seek a medical professional’s consultation.
What preservative do you use?
Optiphen PLUS We use a safe and natural preservative called Optiphen PLUS. It is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative as well. It's ideal for preserving natural products that are used on the hair and skin. It offers both safe & effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth, making products last longer and safer to use.
How long will my CurlMix products last?
Approximately 2 years if unopened. Once opened, store in a cool dry place. It can last one year once opened.
