I really enjoyed using my CurlMix Detangling Brush Kit! Honestly, it made my Wash + Go so much easier and way less stressful. The tools glide through my curls without pulling, and I loved how each brush served a real purpose. Detangling used to feel like a whole workout, but with this kit, it actually felt manageable.
What I loved most is how defined my curls looked afterward—soft, bouncy, and separated without frizz. It gave me that “fresh out the salon” look at home. I even snapped a picture because my curls were popping!
If I had to suggest anything, maybe adding a small card with tips for different curl types could make it even better. But honestly, the kit already does what it promises.
My Wash + Go came out beautifully—defined, moisturized, and full of volume. This set is definitely a staple for anyone with natural curls who wants smoother detangling and a flawless style
It looks like its never been opened but i love this set. The detangling brushes are exceptional nice. Really glad i got it. Way better than most of the ones i been buy out of local stores

So far it brings my hair out naturally only used it for 3 weeks however my hair still be dry next day but when I use my conditioner with water it does bounce back! Will continue to use to see if my healthy hair restores it's natural curls. Happy with product though.

The products really create an experience out of hair washing. The scents are amazing and it feels really good applying the product to the hair; just after the first wash and go I realized how much hydration my hair was missing. Love it!

I finally used the movable brush and it worked well. However, my hair is easy to comb anyway. I have soft, semi-thin, high porosity, 4C hair.
The brush could be better utilized on my granddaughter’s thick, long, low porosity 4C hair.

My Hair Story
1997
My First Relaxer
When I was 6 years old, my grandmother relaxed my hair, against my mother's request. My mother was so upset, and that led to 13 years of relaxers to acheive "straight hair" so I could feel "beauitful" and fit in at school.
2010
MY BIG CHOP
Sophomore year in college, I was inspired to go natural by my mother and several girls wearing their afros on campus. That semester, I cut all of my hair off in my dorm room.
2017
CurlMix Launch
I wanted to help other women embrace and celebrate their natural beauty, the same way my mother did for me. We launched a 4 step system to help you master your curls.
FAQ
Will my products be all natural and organic?
Yes, we will only provide natural and/or organic ingredients. We keep our labels simple, so you can understand exactly what is going on your hair & body. All ingredient information is on each individual product page.
Do I need to refrigerate them?
No, the water-based products include a preservative. This includes all of our products except any pure oil formulas. Putting them in the refrigerator does help them last longer but is not required. Unopened, they have a 2 year shelf life and after it is opened, 1 year.
What if I'm allergic to a few things?
Ingredients may have been derived from corn, soy, wheat, and/or nut products. They may have also been produced in a facility that makes those products.
We recommend conducting an "Area/Patch Test" as described below.
Area/Patch Test: This test allows you to test a small area of your skin for 24 hours before applying the treatment to a larger area. We recommend rubbing the CurlMix mixture on the skin near your elbow, covering it with a bandage for 24 hours and if there is no allergic response (redness, itchiness,swelling) then apply the treatment as directed in the instructions. If you have an allergic reaction, we do not recommend the use of CurlMix and suggest that you seek a medical professional’s consultation.
What preservative do you use?
Optiphen PLUS We use a safe and natural preservative called Optiphen PLUS. It is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative as well. It's ideal for preserving natural products that are used on the hair and skin. It offers both safe & effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth, making products last longer and safer to use.
How long will my CurlMix products last?
Approximately 2 years if unopened. Once opened, store in a cool dry place. It can last one year once opened.

Are CurlMix products safe to use on color treated hair?
Yes, they are.
