Justin Timberlake has a very very very special place in my heart. Yall, me and my sisters and cousins all got the *NSYNC puppet dolls for Christmas one year and took months to take them out the box.

We had “BYE BYE BYE” choreo too lol.

He was one of the first CDs we could buy as a preteens. It was “Justified” and Ruben Studdards (American Idol) album (IYKYK) then Beyoncé’s “Dangerously in Love”.

We played the CD on a boombox until we scratched the life out of those records.

Literally. My homie, Jasmine, had an extra ticket and asked if I wanted to go and I could not say YES fast enough.

Something about seeing him live as a 33 year old healed my inner child. 

It had me dancing like a preteen 20 years ago and remembering my childhood. 

Book the concert. Take the trip. Get the tattoo. You won't regret it.
