New year, new hair. :)
Sometimes change can feel overwhelming and frustrating.
It is undoubtedly uneasy and unnerving.
Trust me; when I decided to stop putting chemical treatments on my hair, I went through a difficult time of adjustment to the new me.
BUT, I am grateful I found my way and haven’t looked back.
I have a few reminders that helped me through my journey that I believe will be essential in yours

1. YOUR Hair; YOUR Journey
Often we find ourselves thinking the grass is greener on the other side when it isn’t.
Everyone has their journey, and we have ours.
Stay focused on your own "why" to keep you from losing your mind.
What is your why?
- Is it healthy hair?
- Is it the insatiable craving for something different/new?
- Is it to be a role model for your children, siblings, or friends?
- Is it YOU?
Whatever your" why" is keep reminding yourself in order to stay.
2. It is a Transition
It will take time.
It is a process that requires patience.
Transitioning from a chemical treatment will not happen overnight.
You do not have to do the “big chop”; it is not a requirement.
We suggest cutting damaged hair but It isn’t for everyone.
You do what is best for you today.
3. Build a New Hair Routine for Yourself
Your old hair routine will not translate to your new hair.
Your hair will probably require more than it did before.

- More time
- More products
Adapting and adjusting to new routines for your hair is critical, and your hair will love you for it.
Your new hair routine will open you up to new style possibilities as long as you take care of it.
